🟧6. POPKON Technology Architecture

POPKON builds up a three-layered system to seamlessly service various contents, sponsorships and watching through POPK Tokens.

6.1 POPK Application Layer

The POPK application layer is a layer which participants of the POPKON ecosystem can actually access. Most of the participants’ activities in the service stage, such as content creators' content registration, sponsorship settlement, viewers' content sponsorship, and reward acquisition, are done through the POPK application layer. POPKON System is going to be developed as an API because it aims to expand the ecosystem through multiple platforms rather than being dependent on a single platform. Therefore, platforms related to digital content can be synchronized with POPKON system API and conveniently joined in the POPKON ecosystem.

6.2 POPK Token Layer

POPK layer links the POPK blockchain layer with the POPK application layer. And it records when a user uses POPK Tokens issued by the POPK blockchain layer in the POPK application layer. Transaction activities which happen such as viewers’ content sponsor, and content creator’ sponsorship settlement, etc. in the POPK application layer are transmitted into the POPK blockchain layer for record-keeping.

As transaction dissemination occurs when a viewer makes sponsorships to a content, excessive network commission might be imposed. To lower the commission, transactions can be bundled as one transaction in the POPK layer and then propagated into the POPK blockchain layer.

6.3 POPK Blockchain Layer

The POPK blockchain layer serves to transmit transactions that occur in the POPKON system to the blockchain. It creates and manages the wallets of all participants in the POPKON ecosystem and sends the transactions that occur in the wallets to the service layer so that participants can easily browse and disseminate them to the POPK application layer. Conversely, transactions such as sponsorship and reward acquisition through POPK Tokens occurring at the application layer are collected, recorded, and circulated to other blocks.
